I'm a liberal and I think this stuff is kind of goofy. But if professors want to teach it and people want to take it, I don't see it as any of my business. Classes like this aren't typically requirements unless you're majoring in women's studies or peace studies or whatever. The school I went to for undergrad had a Christianity requirement, and I took it and didn't complain. You just can't worry about every single little thing.
