The Role of the Bible in forming legislation?
The results of this Gallup poll are startling. When asked, What role should the Bible play in forming legislation?’ 55% of Americans said that the Bible should "play some role in forming legislation."
In America, I think we are well aware of the difference between right and wrong. The problem is that it is impossible to live up to the standard within our own strength, so instead of doing what Christian's do and depend on Christ's goodness to get us to heaven, they just throw the baby out with the bathwater.
The Bible has good news in it, but apparently the church has miscommunicate this news over the years. At least America, hasn't quite forgotten.
