Today could have been a lot worse....
I'm thankful for today; it could have been a lot worse.
Terrorist could have planted plastics explosives in the cargo bins at the Port of Miami, as reported in this article. Instead, it was harmless.
Some gas stench spreading throughout New York could have been a biological weapon. Instead, it is reported to be harmless.
63 birds found dead in Austin, Texas's downtown streets could have been something worse like smallpox. Though it is still uncertain, it doesn't appear to have officials too worried. They've reopened the downtown area and are sending the birds off to be tested.
These killer bees could have been found in your neighborhood.
Russia cuts off oil to Europe. While it stinks for them, maybe this means more supply for us and cheaper prices!
This day could have been worse, indeed, if the Democrats would not have broken this promise.
So, I guess we have a lot to be thankful for today. Thank you, Lord.
