Gay Activism in Public Schools

The following is part four in the series, " American Education: A Crisis Demanding Leadership."

PROPAGANDA IN EVERY SCHOOL
It is not an overstatement to say that every public school in America has been influenced by the gay agenda. For each school zone where you are forced to drive 25 mph, 300-4000 children are being indoctrinated with the gay agenda. What messages are they receiving?
1. That homosexuality is inborn and inevitable for some students and teachers and therefore a matter of "rights".
The scientific research that supports "inborn homosexuality" is deficient--at best; yet, you can be guaranteed that opposing perspectives and research (synopses available here, here, here, and here), are not presented in the classroom.
2. That homosexual behaviors are no higher risk than current trends in heterosexual behavior.
Though this is not supported by public health research reviewed here, here, here, here, here, or here, you can be assured that your child will never be exposed a dissenting opinion.
3. That homosexuality is a viewpoint and should be protected by "free speech" constitutional protections.
Though homosexuality is a behavior that cannot exist without an action (namely, sex), declaring it a type of "free speech" means we can talk about anywhere and everywhere--including schools--or the gay community will threaten to sue you like they did to these fine folks here, here, here, here, here, and here.
4. [Presenting] objections to homosexuality are a threat to the welfare of student's development and sexual identity (cite).
In fact, your child may even be encouraged to explore their sexual orientation should they visit their school psychologist, or in group counseling sessions. Or, as this article puts it, transgender presentations aimed at "queering the schools" may also encourage your child's sexual exploration.

HOW ARE GAY ACTIVISTS INFILTRATING SCHOOLS?

If you can conceive of a way that sexual orientation can be introduced into the curriculum, so have homosexual activists. They are way ahead of you.

Gay activists have already influenced your child's sex education curriculum. In Maryland, a sex education committee approved a horribly one-sided curriculum,
"[It] presents only one view on the subject 'that homosexuality is a natural and morally correct lifestyle' to the exclusion of other perspectives."

This sex-ed curriculum teaches children that "morality is a more subjective issue" and that people can "form a variety of [sexual] relationships lasting from one night to many years...."

It's hard to believe, but this offensive curriculum criticizes "fundamentalists" and specifically singles out the Baptists as "theologically flawed" and as "unenlightened and Biblically misguided." The curriculum indicates preference for five other named churches that, "fortunately," are not homophobic and are more friendly towards the homosexual lifestyle. (cite)
Luckily, a federal judge absolved the committee and required the school to rework its curriculum.

Don't expect this one ruling to thwart their efforts. The gay advocacy-in-education group in Maryland, Teachthefacts.org, is well organized and stand ready to influence Maryland public schools. This same group also refuses to permit research, performed by Dr. Robert Spitzer (a pro-gay marriage advocate), in the sex ed. curriculum showing that homosexuality is a self-determined lifestyle that can be changed. I suppose that free-speech and balanced perspectives are only applicable when it is convenient.

A new bill proposed in Massachusetts would require sexual education curriculum be included in all school's core beginning with fifth grade. "Maybe, if it's age appropriate" goes the general thinking, but a closer look reveals the influence of the gay-agenda in education:
By the end of grade 5:
Define sexual orientation using the correct terminology (such as heterosexual, and gay and lesbian)
Describe different types of families, addressing membership and social influences, and the functions of family members.
Identify whom to talk with about family problems and successes.

By the end of grade 8:
Describe behaviors and methods for pregnancy prevention, including abstinence.
Identify sexual discrimination and harassment - students use current events or media portrayal to discuss the consequences of discrimination based on sexual orientation (cite).
But this battle is not limited to sex education curriculum. Homosexual activists are indoctrinating school kids through books as early as first grade. Using "fun stories" early and more explict 'coming out' teen books, public school students are being immersed with propaganda from the homosexual community. One book referenced in a public school curriculum includes the suggestion for students to "go to gay bars and have sex with adults to see if they like it" (cite).

At a Massachusetts high school in 2005, the text "Little Black Book - Queer In The 21st Century" was handed during a Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) event. WARNING: This information presented is too graphic for the sensitive reader:
"The Little Black Book" describes various gay sex acts including watersports, fisting, oral sex, ingesting body fluids, rimming, mutual masturbation, etc., in explicit language.

The booklet tells teens that they have three "sexual rights and responsibilities" including: "You have the right to enjoy sex without shame or stigma! You have the right to safer sex materials that speak to your desires! You have the right to take action for your community! Be heard, you are the expert!"

Under the "fisting" section, the book advises: "Avoid too much alcohol or drugs if you fist or get fisted. Trauma can increase the risk for HIV when you get f***** so you might want to do your f****** before fisting."

Under "watersports," the book advises teenagers: "There is little risk of STD infection and no risk of HIV infection from playing with pee" (cite)
I simply can't believe that our public school students are being taught this; it is unfathomable and outrageous.

Homosexual activists are using creative means to influence children everyday. GLSEN (Los Angelos)'s website lists lesson plans to 48 plays that children can perform. Titles in the "Cootie Curriculum" include "A Different Family, K-3, A short and sweet play about a young, adopted girl, her gay dad and her best friend"; and, "Play Wedding, K-2, Two little girls play dolls and talk about a wedding between two men one of them attended". Yes, those are the recommended grades for each play. This sites promotes plays for K-6.

They also provide videos with accompanying curriculum, FREE of charge, about GLBT lifestyles such as "Live to Tell: The First Gay and Lesbian Prom in America"; "Gay Youth...One of the best videos made about lesbian and gay teens, it includes very poignant profiles of two adolescents: one who committed suicide, the other openly gay in high school"; "Out Loud"...a video profile of ten lesbian and gay youth (15-23 years old); and, my personal favorite:
"All God's Children"... This documentary deals with the effect of homophobia on African Americans (including within the Black Church), and includes participants' visions of what the African American struggle for civiil rights means within the context of fighting discrimination against lesbians and gay men of all races.
How about "Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender History Month" for children as young as seven? Sound like something you want your children learning about? In Britain, the gay activist in only slightly ahead of the American counterparts.

THE EXAMPLES DON'T END WITH THIS LIST

Don't think for a second that gay activists are losing--they are not. They are winning the battle for the minds and health of our children. Their means are creative, emotionally-based, play on student's inclination toward rebelliousness, and well-funded.

RESISTANCE IS FUTILE; YOU WILL BE ASSIMILATED

"Homophobic teachers" (as the 'gay community' calls teachers with a dissenting opinion) are fast losing the right to dissent against the homosexual lifestyle. In one Seattle case, teachers who's name are not the "safe" list appear on another list: the list of possible plaintifs in the suicide death of a 15 year old homosexual student. Another teacher in Massachusetts was forced to resign after telling students that "that homosexuality is unnatural."

In Massachusetts, David Parker's KINDERGARTEN student came home earlier in the year with the text "Who's in a Family?" that depicts a family with two dads. He then went the school to request notification when his kindergarten would be exposed to homosexual curriculum. City school officials rejected his request; and he refused to leave their office until they granted it. He was thrown in jail. Afterward he made this statement:
"Since the beginning of this school year, my wife and I have learned that school materials and discussions about gay-headed households/same-sex union issues have been exposed to children. There are definitive plans to increase the teacher/staff/adult mediated discussions of these subjects.

"We have officially stated on many occasions--to the Lexington school administration--a request that we be notified when these discussions are planned, and want our 6-year-old opted out of such situations when arising 'spontaneously.'

"Our parental requests for our own child were flat-out denied with no effort at accommodation. In our meeting on April 27, I insisted that such accommodation be made and refused to leave the meeting room. I was informed that I would be arrested(cite)"
Parents are quickly losing right to influence their own child's sexual education and moral development. Recently, Judge Stephen Reinhardt of the Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals outrageously ruled, "We ... hold that there is no fundamental right of parents to be the exclusive provider of information regarding sexual matters to their children ...." (cite). If the gay agenda meets no resistance, parents and teachers with dissenting opinions will lose their children to the flood of propaganda that they continuously consume.

What can a parent do in the face of such opposition? Why shouldn't the gay agenda have free reign in public school? These questions and more answered in the next installment of "American Education: A Crisis Demanding Leadership".

Homeschool. It will not hurt your children acedemically. I have contacted several colleges, they all accept homeschoolers as long as records are kept, transcripts are made, and the PSAT,SAT and SAT subject tests are taken so that the colleges have something to go by. Our child took the PSAT and scored 182. The state average last year was 139.
 
The Southern Theologian Robert Lewis Dabdney predicted that once the state gained control of education, religion was going to be ousted so a not to offend anyone. He was right. He predicted that Christian parents would lose their children to humanism once the state totally controlled the schools and the curriculum. He was right. Why? because after the War between the States, many Humanists weren in places of great influence within the Government.

Ah, yes. The same discredited "research" from the same discredited sources.

I notice you never, ever link to any sources of research that aren't themselves trying to promulgate a viewpoint. How about linking to the NIH? Or PubMed? Or Google Scholar?

Oh, right. Because then you wouldn't able to apply the imprimtur of "science" to your ancient beliefs.
 
In America, it's your right to scream, "discredited," every time you don't like the outcome of research.

How quickly, you exercise this right to discredit the CDC(Center for Disease Control and Prevention), and National Institute of Health. That's right, the articles listed used government documentation as their sources.

They also used medical journals like Pediatrics, Public Health Reports, Archives of Internal Medicine, American Journal of Epidemiology, Journal of Sexually Transmitted Infections, Journal of Community Health, Journal of Family Practice, British Journal of Veneral Diseases, Science, Fertility and Sterility, Medical Clinics of North America, Morbidity and Mortality Weekly (boy they have something for everyone), Annals of Clinical and Laboratory Science, American Family Physician, Western Journal of Medicine, Archives of Dermatological Research, Sexually Transmitted Diseases, Revue Medicale Bruxelles, New England Journal of Medicine, American Journal of Public Health, Venereology, Clinicla Infectious Diseases, Journal of Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndromes, Journal of The Journal of Men’s Studies, Consulting and Clinical Psychology, Journal of Personality & Social Psychology, Scientific American, Archives of Sexual Behavior, and American Journal of Public Health.

AND books from the American Psychiatric Association; conferences like the AIDS Malignancy Conference, or the Medical Section of the British Psychological Society. Even the LGBT Health Channel, Gay and Lesbian Medical Association reports were used in the sources to which you so easily scream "discredited".

Why are you so threatened by opposing research? Why do you hate opposing viewpoints that don't fit your social and scientific paradigm?

There are hundreds and hundreds of sources that confirm the similar messages. But, YOU want to scream "discredited?" Maybe someone can tell me if that seems a bit arrogant.
 
When you start showing me the actual research - as in giving citations to journals I can look up in the library - and not website links to secondary articles describing research, I promise to take a serious look at your claims regarding the biology (or lack thereof) of homosexuality. You probably don't believe me, but I am actually curious to read the studies themselves.
 
Your consistent dogmatism leads me to believe that the authenticity of your request is lacking. yet...

In fact, there is no one study that refutes all allegations of inborn homosexuality. For a very good reason, sexual orientation has been linked the to brain, to genes, finger length, inner ear differences, eye-blinking, and “neuro-hormonal differentiation.” These are significantly diverse fields.

While a primary source may focus on the faults of one article, report, claim of a colleague, etc. it takes a secondary source to summarize the data for a specific allegation, field, etc. (depending upon the scope of the author).

If you're sincerely interested, first, read the secondary source. As opposed to being evil and full of lies, I have found that their claims are substantiated by some research. Look at the footnotes and endnotes for primary sources.

Don't forget to critically analyze it; we wouldn't want you be helplessly indoctrinated.
